SAFETY: Follow TICO General Health & Safety Rules, ensure safe operating conditions within area of responsibility, and notify coworkers and supervisors of hazardous acts and conditions.Assist in sourcing efforts, to include issuance of RFQ (Request for Quotation) and appropriate follow up with suppliers.Communicates and resolves over-shipments, delivery shortages, non-conformance, quantity adjustments, delivery changes, and price discrepancies to the interested parties in a timely manner.Developing and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure that they provide high-quality products and service.Coordinating the flow of materials and products through the supply chain by communicating with other departments within an organization.Maintain key part attributes in ERP system to include Standard Cost, Lead Time and Stocking Levels.Estimating costs related to each purchase orders/work orders, including labor and materials costs.Reviewing purchase orders to ensure that they are accurate and complete and proactive follow up to ensure OTD (On Time Delivery).Provides accurate and timely processing of all purchase orders in accordance with TICO’s policies and procedures.High level of focus on driving continuous improvement both externally with the supplier and internally within the purchasing function and with key stakeholders.Leads all efforts with suppliers to address product availability issues and ensures that long term supply constraint issues are resolved or escalated when appropriate. ![]()
